Biking, hiking, and kayaking

This weekend I biked, hiked, and kayaked.

The hiking was, for the most part, unintentional. I rode my bike to Busch's, where I bought three pounds of Kowalski natural casing stadium kielbasa (mmm), and when I got out discovered that my bike had a flat. It took nearly an hour to walk home, so I was glad it was a gorgeous day.

Argo Pond was a great place to try out a kayak for the first time, since there was virtually no current. The trees along the river were sporting their new colors. It was beautiful.

If the weather is nice I might try kayaking again next weekend. The Parks & Recreation department is going to demolish the canoe livery and they may not build a new one, so it might be my last chance to rent a kayak at Argo Park.

Also this weekend I saw rock bands and started a top-secret project.
